WHAT IS KAIUT YOGA?
Kaiut Yoga (pronouned kai-yoot) is a gentle yet deep method targeting the rigidity within our bodies. Over time through daily life, injury and stress, we accumulate restrictions throughout our joints. Kaiut Yoga helps to identify and unwind the restrictions – thus restoring natural mobility and function to our bodies. It is particularly effective for addressing acute and chronic pain situations as well as the systemic ill-health.
In a Kaiut class, we work at the optimal, balancing sensation with a deep sense of restfulness, such that our body can adapt and change as needed over time. Kaiut Yoga is not about forcing our bodies into a particular shape or pose. Rather, we are working with the body in a way such that it can regain its natural ability to do all things. The practice requires that we are mindful of the uniqueness of each of our bodies, and as teachers we are trained to guide each and every student accordingly.
